Global warming, limited agricultural resources, and environmental concerns challenge the future of food and necessitate innovative approaches to food production and considerations for the human diet. The International Symposium “Future Food and Sustainability” is a Hybrid Mode conference organized by the College of Agriculture of NPUST, Taiwan, and held on 21 November 2023 in room AR114 of the College of Agriculture of the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan (ROC).
This international symposium is the premier forum for presenting breakthroughs and research results in the future of food sustainability with a focus on future food processing and diet in line with sustainable development goals (SDGs). It also serves as an international forum for experts and participants to present and discuss the most recent innovations and solutions related to sustainability. It also aims to enhance international collaborations to address sustainability-related issues in the food industry and human diet. This symposium also provides an opportunity for the students to learn about the latest trends in future food.
This International symposium provides insights from international experts from Australia, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, and Thailand as plenary and invited speakers with more than 100 atendees. It is hoped to contribute with further internationalization and scientific collaboration to achieve SDGs goals.
